What's new

Plugin releases, demo videos and music news, newest first.

  • Release FxmeFX v0.4.1

New version of the FxmeFX effects collection, now 13 plugins (VST3, AU, Standalone and Pure Data externals). Three new effects: FxmeChorus, FxmeFlanger and FxmePhaser, all with a tempo-synced option. Every plugin now has a preset bar with factory and user presets. The equalizer gets a sixth band, per-band on/off switches and a spectrum display, the stereo delay can sync to the host tempo or to the last MIDI note, and the convolution IRs are normalized to equal loudness. Sessions saved with 0.3.0 still load and sound the same. See it on the plugins page.

  • Release of SuperMoTo (The Super Monitoring Tool): an open-source audio plugin (VST3, AU, Standalone) for studio monitoring signal chains and room calibration. Features up to 32×32 matrix routing, per-output EQ, trim, delay alignment, zero-latency FIR room correction, phase-coherent subwoofer integration, group rig calibration, and Ambisonics decoding up to 3rd order. Read the documentation PDF, quickstart PDF, and paper PDF, or view it on the plugins page.

  • First release of ModalDish: a physical model of a plate of arbitrary shape, solved by finite elements. Draw a shape, set boundary conditions on its edges, and play it as an instrument or run audio through it as an effect. See it on the plugins page.

  • Great news for the Y'n'N duo: H2O2 has been picked up by WCPM/Massivebass (Warner Chappell Production Music) and is being remastered for a fresh release in October. It's off streaming platforms while we get it ready. In the meantime, catch a few tracks right here, up top in the playbar.
